Zenskar Raises $15 Million to Enhance Revenue Automation Platform
Zenskar, a company specializing in automating the full order-to-cash cycle without the need for workarounds, has announced the successful closing of a $15 million Series A funding round. This funding aims to advance its AI-native billing and revenue automation platform designed for B2B companies.
Series A Funding Details
The Series A round was led by Susquehanna Venture Capital. Other notable participants included Bessemer Venture Partners, Shine Capital, Rho, Rocketship, J-Ventures, Future Back Ventures by Bain & Company, and Converge. The influx of capital will be directed toward expanding Zenskar's platform capabilities and increasing its adoption across various sectors.
Company Focus and Platform Capabilities
Zenskar's platform addresses the challenges faced by modern B2B businesses, particularly those dealing with complex pricing models like usage-based billing and multi-currency operations. The company's AI-native system replaces outdated legacy systems that often lead to revenue leakage and compliance issues. By automating finance operations, Zenskar aims to improve accuracy, auditability, and efficiency in billing, revenue recognition, collections, and analytics.
Expansion and Integration
With the new funding, Zenskar plans to enhance its "zero-touch finance" approach by expanding its agentic capabilities. This includes the development of its Agents Marketplace, which allows finance teams to create and deploy AI agents without needing extensive engineering resources. The platform also integrates with tools like Slack and major AI systems, enabling seamless management of workflows and approvals within existing environments.
Industry Insights
Zenskar has experienced significant growth, with a reported fivefold increase in revenue over the past year. This growth is attributed to the rising demand for automated finance solutions that can handle complex financial scenarios. Apurv Bansal, CEO and Co-Founder of Zenskar, commented on the challenges faced by finance teams: "Finance teams aren't struggling because they lack AI tools. They're struggling because the systems underneath those tools were built for a simpler world."
Strategic Use of Funds
The funds will be utilized to further develop Zenskar's platform capabilities, focusing on reducing manual work and accelerating financial processes. By combining rule-based systems with AI-driven automation, Zenskar aims to provide a scalable infrastructure for finance teams to focus more on strategic tasks rather than operational grunt work.
This latest funding round positions Zenskar to continue its mission of transforming finance operations for B2B companies, helping them navigate the complexities of modern financial environments with greater efficiency and reduced risk.
