Xeltis, a healthcare company based in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, has successfully raised €20.5 million in a new funding round. The company is known for developing innovative implants that help the body naturally create living and durable vessels.

Investment Details

The latest funding round was led by Horizon 3 Healthcare, a new investor to Xeltis. Other participants included established investors such as the European Innovation Council, Invest-NL, VI Partners, EQT Life Sciences, and DaVita.

Strategic Use of Funds

The newly acquired funds will be directed towards several key initiatives. Xeltis plans to use the capital to finalize the ongoing pivotal trial of their aXess™ program in the United States. This includes preparing for FDA submission and launching the product commercially in the U.S. Additionally, the funding will support the European commercial rollout of aXess™, enhance manufacturing capabilities, and advance other programs like XABG and XPAD in clinical settings.
