XBOW Raises $120 Million in Series C Funding

XBOW, known for its autonomous offensive security platform, has successfully secured $120 million in Series C funding. This round was led by DFJ Growth, with the participation of Northzone, Sofina, Alkeon Capital, Altimeter, NFDG Ventures, and Sequoia Capital. Founded by Oege de Moor, XBOW offers a platform that replicates the thoroughness of premium pentesting engagements but in a significantly reduced timeframe.

Advancing AI-Powered Security

The funding will support XBOW's mission to enhance its AI-driven offensive security solutions. The platform uses AI reasoning and adversarial workflows modeled on real-world attack techniques to identify and validate system vulnerabilities swiftly. As cyber threats become more sophisticated, XBOW aims to provide organizations with continuous and automated security testing, which is essential for maintaining robust cybersecurity defenses.

"When I founded XBOW in January 2024, few believed AI could truly think like a hacker and operate at machine speed," said Oege de Moor, Founder of XBOW. "We proved it. XBOW provides that continuous speed, and this funding enables us to bring it to the entire industry."

Strategic Growth Plans

The newly acquired funds will be strategically used to accelerate XBOW's enterprise expansion, enhance platform capabilities, and drive international growth. The company has already made significant strides by securing enterprise clients, including Fortune 500 companies, and is now looking to broaden its market reach.

Leadership Expansion

In addition to financial growth, XBOW is expanding its leadership team. Ramin Sayar, Venture Partner at DFJ Growth and former CEO of Sumo Logic, will join the board of directors. The company is also strengthening its team with key hires in marketing, legal, revenue, and international operations.

XBOW's innovative approach positions it as a critical component of modern cybersecurity strategies, allowing organizations to transition from reactive to proactive defense measures. The latest funding round underscores the increasing importance of AI in cybersecurity and XBOW's role in leading this transformation.
