Vingo Raises $1.14 Million in Seed Funding

Vingo, a Bengaluru-based C2C marketplace catering to gamers, photographers, musicians, and tech enthusiasts, has successfully raised $1.14 million (approximately Rs 10 crore) in a seed funding round. This round was led by IndiaQuotient, with participation from Inuka Capital and angel investor Rishabh Goel, co-founder and CEO of Credgenics.

Company Background

Founded in March 2026 by Parth Sarthi, along with Saransh Goyal and Krish Vashistha, Vingo offers a platform where individuals can buy, sell, and bid on pre-owned goods. The marketplace aims to connect buyers and sellers in a secure environment, integrating features such as identity verification, community-led product discovery, and secure payment facilitation. The platform is available for download on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, with operations currently focused in Bengaluru.

Use of Funds

The newly acquired funds will be directed towards several key areas. Vingo plans to enhance its product and trust infrastructure, conduct in-depth research into user behavior, and implement targeted marketing strategies aimed at key consumer groups. These efforts are expected to strengthen the platform's functionality and user engagement.

Insights from the Founders

Parth Sarthi, one of the co-founders, emphasized the growing trend of C2C commerce: "C2C commerce is increasingly becoming a way for people to own products they may not otherwise buy new, while helping someone else realize value from products they no longer use." Sarthi highlighted that Vingo is designed to facilitate this behavior by making product discovery and transactions easier and more trustworthy.

Investment and Future Plans

IndiaQuotient, known for backing promising startups, has shown confidence in Vingo's potential to capture the growing C2C market in India. The investment from Inuka Capital and Rishabh Goel further solidifies the support for Vingo's vision. With this funding, Vingo is poised to expand its reach, refine its platform, and enhance user experience, helping more consumers engage in the buying and selling of pre-owned goods.

Vingo's innovative approach to the C2C marketplace leverages community interaction and secure transactions, aiming to become a leading platform for tech lovers and hobbyists in India.
