Mumbai-based startup Verdant Impact, specializing in AI-led bovine genetics, has successfully raised $3 million in a seed funding round. The round was spearheaded by Unicorn India Ventures, with additional investments from Infynyte Club, Yash Kotak, Alok Soni, and a-IDEA NAARM.

The funding will also support research and development, focusing on enhancing the capabilities of its Pashu.AI platform and integrating blockchain technology into its existing infrastructure.
Product Innovations
Verdant Impact has developed innovative products such as Pashu AI, a comprehensive platform for livestock health monitoring and genetic diversity tracking. Additionally, Bharat Pashudhan, an IoT-enabled device, provides real-time herd management and health monitoring solutions.
Impact and Future Goals
Verdant Impact has already served over 600,000 farmers and is on track to reach significant revenue milestones. The company aims to achieve Rs 100 crore in revenues by March 2026 while maintaining profitability. Moreover, Verdant Impact runs the India Methane Mission, a program aimed at methane mitigation and supporting dairy farmers with carbon credit mechanisms.
