UniverCell operates a gigafactory in Northern Germany with a production capacity exceeding 1.5 GWh. The facility focuses on producing custom lithium-ion cells and electrodes, leveraging UniverCell's expertise in industrial production processes. Their innovative approach includes the use of 21700 cylindrical cells with a tabless design and lightweight aluminum housings, ensuring high reproducibility and low scrap rates.
