TraqCheck Raises $8 Million in Series A Funding

TraqCheck, a London-based company specializing in AI-powered solutions for the HR sector, has successfully raised $8 million in a Series A funding round. The round was led by IvyCap Ventures, with participation from IIFL. This new influx of capital is set to propel the company's innovative offerings in automating HR processes.

Company Background

Founded by Jaibir Nihal Singh and Armaan Mehta, TraqCheck offers an AI-driven operating system designed to streamline various HR functions. This includes automating tasks such as candidate sourcing, resume screening, and background checks, which are traditionally time-consuming and prone to errors. The company's technology aims to enhance efficiency and reduce the manual workload for HR professionals.

Use of Funds

The funds from this Series A round will be strategically used to expand TraqCheck's presence in the UK market. The company plans to increase its workforce to 25 employees, focusing on scaling its AI-driven infrastructure. This expansion will help reduce tool fragmentation and enable seamless collaboration across small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and enterprise clients.

Technological Advancements

TraqCheck's AI technology includes specific agents like Trace, which automates background checks and is already in use by approximately 300 enterprise clients worldwide, such as Randstad Enterprise, Wipro, and The Digital College. Additionally, the company is developing a conversational AI agent named Nina. This agent is designed to engage with candidates, qualify applicants, and connect vetted talent directly with hiring managers. By automating these processes, recruiters can focus more on strategic, human-centric tasks.

Comments from the Founders

Jaibir Nihal Singh, the founder of TraqCheck, noted the importance of AI in transforming HR operations. "Our goal is to minimize the manual effort involved in HR tasks, allowing teams to focus on more impactful activities," he said. Co-founder Armaan Mehta added, "With this funding, we are excited to enhance our platform and expand our reach, providing businesses with cutting-edge HR solutions."

Investor Perspective

IvyCap Ventures, the lead investor, has expressed confidence in TraqCheck's potential to redefine HR processes through AI. The investment aligns with IvyCap's strategy of supporting innovative technology solutions that address critical business needs.

With this significant funding round, TraqCheck is well-positioned to advance its AI capabilities and broaden its impact across the HR industry.
