Trajectory Raises $15 Million to Enhance AI Continual Learning Platform
Trajectory, a company that combines research and product development to create a platform for continual learning in AI, has announced a $15 million funding round. The round was led by Conviction, with participation from Bessemer Venture Partners, Radical Ventures, and notable AI figures Jeff Dean and Fei-Fei Li.
Founders and Leadership
Founded by Ronak Malde, Michael Elabd, and Arjun Karanam, Trajectory is focused on developing infrastructure that enables AI systems to learn continuously from user interactions. Ronak Malde, the company’s CEO, emphasized the transformative potential of their platform, stating: "AI will never again start on day one. Every correction, every retry, every edit will make products smarter. This is Continual Learning."
Platform and Technology
Trajectory’s platform aims to move beyond static training datasets by leveraging the data generated through real-world product usage. This approach allows AI models to improve over time, effectively utilizing signals embedded within product interactions to train large-scale agentic models. The company is already collaborating with AI-native businesses such as Clay, Harvey, Decagon, Mercor, and Rogo, and some of these partnerships have progressed to production stages.
The company has assembled a research team with experience from leading AI organizations like DeepMind, OpenAI, Apple, Meta Superintelligence, Amazon AGI, and Scale AI. In addition, Trajectory’s product team features talent from tech giants like Stripe and Figma.
Strategic Use of Funds
The $15 million raised will be used to further develop Trajectory's platform, enabling broader deployment of its continual learning technology. The company aims to expand its collaborations with AI-native businesses and enhance its capabilities in training agentic AI models.
By integrating continual learning into AI systems, Trajectory seeks to ensure that every user interaction contributes to the ongoing improvement of AI models, positioning its platform as a valuable tool for companies looking to optimize their AI-driven products.
