The company specializes in using its self-developed Level 4 autonomous driving trucks to provide long-distance transportation services between major logistics hubs, aiming to improve and maintain logistics infrastructure.

This funding round saw participation from a diverse group of investors. Notable companies investing in T2 include MOL PLUS, Sumitomo Warehouse, Fujitrans Corporation, Kuribayashi Steamship, Sumitomo Mitsui Auto Service, Daiwa House Ventures, Mitsui Fudosan, Innovation Fund, Yoshida Shipping, K4Ventures, Life Design Fund, and MLC Ventures. These investors bring a wide range of expertise and resources to support T2’s ambitious goals in the autonomous trucking sector.
Advancements in Autonomous Trucking
T2 has been actively conducting commercial operations with its Level 2 autonomous driving trucks and is working towards implementing Level 4 capabilities. The company has reported successful demonstration results, including completing approximately 500 km of non-steering driving on highways and navigating through toll booths. Since 2024, T2 has been transporting cargo for over 50 partner companies, expanding its commercial operations to 23 companies over the past year.
Strategic Use of Funds
The newly acquired funds will be directed towards accelerating business and technology development, particularly focusing on achieving Level 4 autonomous driving capabilities. T2 plans to launch trunk transportation services using Level 4 trucks from fiscal year 2027. To support this, the company has established driver switching hubs, known as "Transgate," in strategic locations such as Ayase, Kobe, and Nishinomiya by spring 2026. An additional close of the Series B round is anticipated within fiscal year 2026.
