Seeds Fincap Raises Series B Funding
Gurugram-based non-banking financial company Seeds Fincap has successfully closed a Series B funding round, securing $11.40 million (Rs 100 crore). The round was led by the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation, with participation from existing investors Z47, Lok Capital, Norinchukin Capital, and Alteria Capital.
Founded by Subhash Acharya and Avishek Sarkar, Seeds Fincap focuses on providing credit solutions to underserved micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and individual borrowers in India. The company uses a cash flow-based lending approach, offering loans ranging from Rs 50,000 to Rs 10 lakh.
Expansion and Development Plans
The newly raised funds will be used to support the company's expansion into new markets and to enhance its branch network. Additionally, Seeds Fincap intends to invest in technology infrastructure and improve its risk management capabilities. The company is aiming to achieve Rs 1,000 crore in assets under management by March 2027.

Seeds Fincap began its non-banking financial company operations in 2021. It currently serves over 70,000 active members through 164 branches. The company closed the fiscal years 2025 and 2026 profitably, with total disbursements of about Rs 620 crore in FY26. Its assets under management stood at Rs 722 crore as of August 2026.
Leadership
Subhash Acharya, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Seeds Fincap, leads the company alongside Co-Founder Avishek Sarkar. Their leadership focuses on leveraging technology combined with field teams to ensure efficient sourcing, onboarding, credit assessment, documentation, collections, and portfolio monitoring.
