Sainaptic Raises £1 Million in Seed Funding

Sainaptic, a London-based education technology company, has successfully secured £1 million in a seed funding round. The company, which offers AI-powered assessment engines for awarding organisations, training providers, and platforms, aims to streamline and enhance the assessment process through consistent marking, continuous quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.

Investors and Leadership

The seed round was co-led by Cornerstone VC and Ufi Ventures, with additional participation from Elm Venture Partners and Brighteye Ventures. Sainaptic was founded by Kavitha Ravindran and Rajeshwari Iyer, both of whom are Cambridge-trained educators and data scientists. Ravindran serves as the Chief Growth Officer while Iyer is a key founder.

Strategic Use of Funds

The newly acquired funds will be directed towards enhancing Sainaptic's existing technology. The company plans to introduce new features that will support quality assurance, data analytics, and personalized assessments. Additionally, Sainaptic intends to grow its engineering, product, and sales teams to better meet the needs of its clients.

New Partnerships

In conjunction with the funding announcement, Sainaptic has formed a strategic partnership with Skilltech Solutions, a provider of assessment management software. This collaboration will make Sainaptic’s technology available to some of the largest apprenticeship assessment organisations in the UK, further expanding its market reach.

Sainaptic's innovative approach to leveraging AI in educational assessments positions it well for future growth and development in the sector.
