Ringg AI Secures $10 Million in Series A Extension

Bengaluru-based AI startup Ringg AI has successfully raised $10 million in an extension of its Series A funding round. The round was led by Peak XV Partners, with additional participation from existing investors Arkam Ventures and Capital 2B.

Company Overview

Ringg AI specializes in developing multilingual AI agents designed for handling inbound and outbound communications across various platforms, including calls, chat, WhatsApp, and the web. These agents can be tested, deployed, and monitored rapidly, making them a versatile solution for businesses looking to streamline customer interactions.

Leadership and Vision

The company was founded by Siddharth Tripathi, Kali Vemuru, and Utkarsh Shukla. Siddharth Tripathi commented on their strategic direction: "At the start, we were doing high-volume, low-complexity use cases like outbound calling, lead qualification, loan collection, and more. We quickly realized these are not sticky use cases, and so it’s always going to be a price game."

Strategic Use of Funds

The new funds will be directed towards enhancing the complexity of their AI applications. Ringg AI is focusing on expanding into areas such as healthcare appointment booking, e-commerce cart recovery, and customer onboarding in financial services. Their voice agent technology is already implemented in 1,200 clinics on the healthcare platform Practo.

Investors and Market Potential

The Series A extension was spearheaded by Peak XV Partners, with significant contributions from Arkam Ventures and Capital 2B. This funding round underscores the growing confidence in Ringg AI's potential to innovate in the AI communication space.
