Bengaluru-based Rekise Marine, a company specializing in marine robotics and intelligent autonomous systems, has successfully raised $9.7 million in a seed funding round. The round was co-led by Accel and NKSquared, with participation from investors including Sameer Brij Verma, Sandeep Singhal, Industrial47, Singularity AMC, and the company's own founders.

Product and Development
Rekise Marine's Jalkapi platform is being developed under the Indian Navyβs iDEX ADITI programme. This vehicle is notable for its significant size, with expected dimensions of approximately 11 meters in length and a weight of around 20 tonnes. It is designed to support missions lasting up to 45 days, making it one of the largest unmanned underwater platforms in India.
The company's product line also includes Jaldoot, an autonomous surface vessel, and Swadheen, an autonomous survey vessel that has successfully completed autonomous open-sea trials. Additionally, Rekise Marine is testing a man-portable autonomous underwater vehicle.
