ReFit Global Secures $1 Million in Seed Round

ReFit Global, a Delhi-based startup specializing in refurbished electronics, has successfully raised $1 million in a seed funding round. The investment comes from a UAE-based family office, positioning the company to broaden its reach within India and explore new opportunities in the Gulf and African markets.

ReFit Global offers consumers the option to purchase refurbished phones and second-hand devices, all of which are rigorously tested through 47 checkpoints. The company provides up to 12 months warranty, along with no-cost EMI and free shipping across India.

Founders and Leadership

The startup was co-founded by Saket Saurav, who serves as CEO, and Avneet Singh, the COO. Commenting on the funding round, Saurav stated, "This round marks an important milestone for ReFit Global and validates the strength of the ecosystem we have been building."

Strategic Use of Funds

The newly acquired funds will be utilized to enhance ReFit Global's retail presence and strengthen its refurbishment capabilities. Additionally, the company plans to invest in technological infrastructure and develop an integrated omnichannel platform. This strategic move aims to support its existing operations and facilitate expansion into new markets.

Expanding Distribution and Retail Networks

ReFit Global operates a vast distribution network across India, encompassing over 75 distributors, 2,000 wholesalers, and 50,000 retail outlets. The company also manages 12 ReFit Xpress outlets. It collaborates with major online marketplaces such as Flipkart and Amazon, ensuring a robust presence in both offline and online channels.

Market Growth and Future Plans

With the backing of the UAE-based family office, ReFit Global aims to tap into potential partnerships and customer bases in the Gulf and African regions. This funding round, advised by Bestvantage Investments, is expected to accelerate the company’s growth trajectory and solidify its market position.
