The funding round featured investments from several notable individuals, including Ashish Kacholia, Lashit Sanghvi, Mohit Sadaani, Hitesh Dhingra, Ajay Mehra, and Samir Palod.
Company Background
Primerry specializes in creating everyday healthcare products aimed at children aged between two and 14 years. The company, co-founded by Rushabh Nandu, is dedicated to addressing common health concerns such as growth, immunity, gut health, coughs, and colds. Primerry's product line is designed with a focus on taste, ease of use, and clinical credibility.
Strategic Plans for Fund Utilization
Primerry plans to utilize the newly acquired funds to expand its product range and distribution network across India. The company aims to introduce a portfolio of eight products in phases, with prices ranging from Rs 499 to Rs 1,499. Initially, these products will be available through Primerry's direct-to-consumer platform, with plans to move into quick-commerce channels within the first year.
The funds will also support the strengthening of Primerry's research and development capabilities and the expansion of its founding team. Additionally, the company intends to establish a presence in physical retail through pharmacies, pediatric clinics, and mother-and-baby specialty stores, focusing initially on Tier 1 cities and metropolitan markets.
Expansion and Product Rollout
Primerry has developed a custom carry case, PocDoc, to help children manage their health products conveniently. The company's strategic vision includes not only expanding its product offerings but also ensuring these products are easily accessible to consumers through both online and offline channels.
