The investment will support POLASTECH in its efforts to enhance its mass production capabilities and expand its market reach both domestically and internationally.
Technology and Application
POLASTECH's core technology involves an adsorption heat pump system that uses "AQSOA," a zeolite-based water vapor adsorbent developed by Mitsubishi Chemical. This system leverages waste heat in the 50-60°C range, typically generated by liquid cooling in data centers, to produce cooling energy. The approach aims to improve the Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of data centers by reducing the electricity needed for cooling.
Strategic Use of Funds
The company plans to use the newly raised funds to strengthen its production system for AQSOA, develop and commercialize AHP systems specifically for data centers, and broaden demonstration tests and proof-of-concept projects. POLASTECH also aims to bolster its business development and engineering teams and prepare for overseas expansion by securing talent and establishing new operational bases.
Future Plans
POLASTECH is looking to collaborate with domestic and international data center operators, design firms, equipment manufacturers, and energy companies. These partnerships are expected to accelerate the implementation and development of their technology in the data center and industrial sectors.
