PixVerse Raises $439 Million in Series C Funding

PixVerse, a Singapore-based startup specializing in video intelligence, has successfully raised $439 million in a Series C funding round. The round was led by CDH Investments and saw participation from investors such as Alibaba, Lollapalooza Capital, Ivy Capital, Grand Mount Capital, Eastern Bell Capital, Mirae Asset, BlueFocus, CloudAlpha, iGlobe Partners, and OCBC's Lion X Ventures.

Founded by Jaden X. and Jaden Xie, PixVerse aims to transform the creation and consumption of visual content through its video intelligence technology. The company is focused on building a global video ecosystem that enhances creativity and imagination.

Expanding Global Reach

With the new funding, PixVerse plans to expand its offerings across various geographies. The company has developed multiple video models, including the V-Series for consumer and API use, the C-Series for professional film and commercial workflows, and the R-Series for game development and world building. These tools enable users to generate videos in up to 4K resolution, complete with audio.

The expansion will also focus on increasing the availability of PixVerse's world model offerings, allowing the company to reach a broader customer base.

Growing User Base

PixVerse has already garnered a significant user base, with over 150 million registered users and more than 15 million monthly active users. While the company did not disclose the number of paying users, it offers a competitive rate for its image-to-video generation services.

Future Prospects

As the demand for video content continues to rise, PixVerse is positioning itself as a key player in the market. Co-founder Jaden Xie noted the vast opportunities in video generation, stating that only a few companies are making significant progress in the field.

With this substantial funding boost, PixVerse is well-equipped to further its mission of making video intelligence accessible to all, thereby unlocking new avenues for creativity and content creation.
