Dubai-Based Oro Raises $3 Million in Strategic Funding

Oro, a fintech startup based in Dubai, has successfully raised $3 million in a strategic funding round. This round was co-led by MH Ventures and Mapleblock Capital, with additional participation from M2M Capital, Archer Capital, X21 Digital, Disrupt.com, and ZIG Labs. Oro is known for its AI-driven platform that allows users to discover, analyze, and execute financial transactions using natural language, without relinquishing control of their digital assets.

What Oro Does

Oro provides a non-custodial AI companion that simplifies complex financial actions such as swaps, staking, lending, and bridging. Users can describe their desired financial actions in plain language, and Oro's AI agents translate these requests into multi-step onchain transactions. This approach enables users to interact with various decentralized finance protocols without manually navigating each step, maintaining asset control through their own wallets.

Leadership and Vision

Varun Choudhary, Co-Founder and CEO of Oro, leads the company in its mission to streamline user interactions with decentralized finance. By leveraging AI technology, Oro aims to make financial transactions more accessible and efficient for its users.

Strategic Use of Funds

The $3 million raised will be used to further develop Oro's AI capabilities and expand its integration with more decentralized finance protocols. Currently, Oro supports over 80 languages and integrates with well-known protocols such as Aave, Uniswap, Lido, Morpho, Kamino, and Raydium. This funding will enable Oro to enhance its platform and broaden its user base, which already exceeds 350,000 active users.

Investor Confidence

The involvement of prominent investors like MH Ventures, Mapleblock Capital, and others underscores the confidence in Oro's innovative approach to decentralized finance. This strategic funding round marks a significant step in Oro's journey to revolutionize how users interact with financial systems.

Oro's integration of AI in finance represents a growing trend in the industry, where natural language processing and intent-based systems are becoming key components in simplifying complex financial tasks.
