Mio, a company developing an AI coworker that integrates directly into Slack, has successfully raised $2.2 million in a pre-seed funding round. This funding effort was led by investors Casey Caruso and Thomas Crow.

"Software can now do the work," said Mesnard, explaining the vision behind Mio. "That doesn't mean replacing team members. It means giving them back time to focus on what they do best."
