Lytmus AI Raises Pre-Seed Funding to Enhance AI Mentorship Platform

Bengaluru-based Lytmus AI, an edtech startup focused on providing AI-driven mentorship for NEET aspirants, announced it has raised $570,000 (Rs 5 crore) in a pre-seed funding round. The round was led by Boundless Ventures, an early-stage investment firm supporting AI-native companies.

Company Background

Founded in 2024 by Ajit Kumar and Praveen Yadav, Lytmus AI aims to support NEET students by integrating AI mentors with top teachers, videos, and practice materials into a unified platform. Ajit Kumar, who also serves as CEO, stated, "We built Lytmus to close that gap, not with more content, but with mentorship that knows each student and can actually get them to results."

How Lytmus AI Works

The platform is structured on two layers: an infrastructure layer that mimics the teaching styles of subject experts, and an application layer that adapts to each student's learning progress. This setup allows the AI mentors to provide personalized guidance, identify learning gaps, and recommend tailored next steps, moving beyond standardized responses.

Use of Funds

The newly acquired funds will be utilized to strengthen Lytmus AI's technological capabilities, speed up product development, and expand its student base. The initial focus will be on enhancing the NEET segment, aiming to provide students with a more interactive and personalized learning experience.

Investor Insight

The funding round was led by Boundless Ventures, reflecting their confidence in Lytmus AI's potential to transform the education landscape for NEET aspirants. While no additional investors were disclosed, Boundless Ventures' involvement highlights a growing interest in AI-driven educational solutions.

Founders’ Vision

Ajit Kumar and Praveen Yadav, both alumni of IIT Bombay, bring a wealth of experience to the table. Kumar, a second-time entrepreneur, has a background in product management and consulting, which he leverages to steer the company towards its mission of providing accessible and effective mentorship to students preparing for competitive exams.

As Lytmus AI continues to develop its platform, the company is set on bridging the gap between content access and effective mentorship, ensuring no student prepares alone.
