Konsileo Raises £5 Million in Latest Funding Round

Konsileo, a London-based insurtech firm, has successfully raised £5 million in an undisclosed funding round. The investment was led by Committed Capital, with ACF Investors also participating. Konsileo specializes in providing a platform that automates administrative tasks, embeds compliance checks, and captures risk information for insurance brokers.

Company Background

Founded in 2017, Konsileo has developed a unique business model that empowers insurance brokers through a flat organizational structure. This approach eliminates traditional management roles, replacing them with coaching and a reward system focused on client relationship value. The company employs over 220 people and arranges more than £85 million in annual insurance premiums across the UK.

John Warburton, Co-Founder and CEO of Konsileo, stated: "We’ve always believed that great brokers do their best work when you give them autonomy, equip them properly, and support them rather than manage them."

Strategic Investment for Growth

The fresh capital injection will be used to further develop Konsileo’s proprietary broking platform and continue its expansion efforts. "This investment means we can keep attracting great people, investing in our platform, and building on the momentum we’ve created as we approach our 10th anniversary," Warburton added.

Investor Confidence

Steven Harris, CEO of Committed Capital, expressed confidence in Konsileo's business model and growth trajectory, highlighting the company's organic growth strategy. "John, Peter, and the team have built one of the fastest-growing independent brokers in the UK, and they have done it organically, broker by broker, rather than through acquisition," Harris noted.

Konsileo's innovative approach and commitment to empowering brokers have positioned it as a significant player in the UK insurance market, with this latest funding round set to propel its growth further.
