The round was led by Singularity AMC and Artha Venture Fund. Based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, InstaAstro provides users with access to astrologers for consultations on various aspects of life, including love, career, and relationships, available in multiple languages.

Company Background

Founded by Nitin Verma, who also serves as the CEO, InstaAstro started as an on-demand astrology consultation app. It has grown to include services such as tarot readings, numerology, vastu, Pooja Seva, and spiritual commerce. The platform boasts approximately 12 million registered users across 183 countries and employs over 5,000 verified experts.

Strategic Use of Funds

The newly acquired funds will be directed towards expanding InstaAstro's reach in both regional and international markets. The company plans to enhance its AI products, particularly focusing on sentiment analysis to provide more contextual consultations. Additionally, multilingual tools will be developed to improve the quality of consultations across different languages.

Market Reach and Revenue

InstaAstro has reported significant growth in its revenue, achieving an annualised revenue run rate exceeding Rs 200 crore. With international markets contributing about 25% of its revenue, the company continues to focus on expanding its presence globally while maintaining a strong user base in India's Tier 1 cities.

This funding round marks a significant milestone for InstaAstro as it aims to further solidify its position in the spiritual wellness industry by leveraging AI technology and expanding its service offerings.
