The pre-seed funding round saw significant contributions from a range of investors, including OCCIDENT, Another VC, Kickfund, Venture Kick, Zürcher Kantonalbank, FONGIT, and the ETH Foundation. Backbone Ventures took the lead in this round, which also included €161.8k in non-dilutive funding. This means that Immitra Bio retained full ownership over this portion of the funds.

The company was co-founded by Amir Taheri-Ghahfarokhi, who serves as Chief Scientific Officer, and Jan Nelis, the CEO.
