hiSofi Raises $1 Million in Latest Funding Round
hiSofi, a Miami-based company specializing in automating debt collection processes, has successfully raised $1 million in an undisclosed funding round. The round was led by SaaSHolic, with additional investment from Uruguayโs National Agency for Research and Innovation (ANII), which contributed $250,000 through its matching funds program.
Company Overview
Founded by Tatiana Pomar, who also serves as CEO, hiSofi provides an intelligent platform that automates debt collection. The platform utilizes artificial intelligence to enhance credit recovery rates and reduce defaults by analyzing debtor behavior. This analysis helps determine the optimal channel, timing, and strategy for each interaction, while also allowing consumers to negotiate payment plans online.
Strategic Use of Funds
The newly acquired funds will be instrumental in establishing a regional AI and data science hub in Uruguay. This strategic move is aimed at expanding hiSofi's engineering, data, and product teams, thereby boosting their capabilities in AI-driven debt collection solutions.
Expanding Presence in Latin America
Currently operating in six Latin American countries, hiSofi serves notable clients such as iFood, Natura, and Credicard. In 2025, the company managed over 44 million debts, secured more than 451,000 payment agreements, and recovered $61 million for its clients.
This funding round marks a significant step for hiSofi as it continues to leverage technology to transform the debt collection industry in Latin America and beyond.
