Greenjets Raises $40 Million in Series A Funding

Greenjets, a London-based company specializing in advanced propulsion systems for electric aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles, has successfully raised $40 million in a Series A funding round. The round was led by Blossom Capital, with participation from the NATO Innovation Fund and the National Security Strategic Investment Fund. The funding was announced on July 17, 2026.

Company Overview

Founded in 2022 by Anmol Manohar and Dr. Guido Monterzino, Greenjets focuses on developing ducted fan propulsion technology. This technology aims to enhance the efficiency, speed, and noise reduction of aircraft. Greenjets' propulsion systems are designed for a variety of applications, including small drones and future electric aircraft, and are integrated into platforms across autonomous systems, urban air mobility, and sustainable aviation.

Strategic Use of Funds

With the new capital injection, Greenjets plans to accelerate the development, production, and deployment of its aerospace technologies. The company also aims to expand its propulsion and aircraft platform portfolio and scale its manufacturing capabilities to meet the needs of both defense and commercial aviation markets.

"Greenjets gives aircraft builders what no legacy architecture can: speed, silence, range, and instant response, tuned to whatever the mission demands," said Maxim Frenkel, Partner at Blossom Capital. He praised the Greenjets team for their focus on delivery and customer satisfaction.

Future Plans

The funding will enable Greenjets to further collaborate with aircraft manufacturers to integrate its propulsion systems into various platforms. This integration supports a wide range of applications, reinforcing Greenjets' commitment to advancing the fields of autonomous flight and sustainable aviation.

Greenjets' innovative approach and recent funding round position it to make significant strides in the aerospace industry, particularly in the development of low-cost drone defense solutions.
