Bengaluru-based GPS Renewables, a company specializing in biofuels, has successfully raised $6.35 million in a Series C funding round dated June 8, 2026. The round was led by PixelSky Capital, with additional participation from Spectrum Impact Family Office and Arya. This funding aims to bolster the company's efforts in expanding its compressed biogas project pipeline across India.

Strategic Investment for Biogas Expansion

The newly acquired funds are earmarked to support the development and execution of large-scale compressed biogas projects throughout the country. GPS Renewables plans to leverage this capital to enhance its financial standing and expedite the completion of both ongoing and upcoming projects. The company is currently involved in more than 30 operational or near-complete projects, with the potential to develop over 200 additional projects in collaboration with oil marketing companies.

Specifically, GPS Renewables intends to invest in GPSR Arya, its project development platform, to enhance its infrastructure capabilities. This includes ongoing projects like the municipal solid waste-based compressed biogas plant in Indore and the plant in Barabanki, as well as an upcoming biogas complex in Kakinada.
