Gaia Learning Raises £400K to Expand Educational Support

Liverpool-based Gaia Learning, an EdTech company dedicated to providing tailored educational environments for neurodivergent children, has successfully raised £400,000 in a recent funding round. The investment was led by GC Angels, with participation from NESTA and a syndicate of angel investors.

Investment Details

The funding round, undisclosed in its series, took place on July 14, 2026. This infusion of capital is part of Gaia Learning’s ongoing mission to ensure that children with diverse educational needs, such as autism, ADHD, and other challenges, receive the support they require.

Use of Funds

The new capital will primarily be used to further develop Gaia Learning’s Bloom platform. Bloom is a SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) infrastructure designed to assist schools and education providers in delivering, tracking, and documenting support for children with additional needs. The platform is currently in pilot stages across Northern Ireland, with further school pilots planned for September.

Strategic Development

The investment will also enable Gaia Learning to continue its expansion efforts, focusing on rolling out Bloom more widely. The aim is to establish Bloom as a central infrastructure in schools, enhancing their ability to support neurodivergent students effectively. This development is expected to improve educational outcomes and accountability for schools working with these learners.

GC Angels, the lead investor, has been instrumental in bringing this funding round to fruition. NESTA also participated, indicating strong support for Gaia Learning’s mission.
