Flow Engineering Secures $50 Million in Series B Funding

Flow Engineering, a San Francisco-based company specializing in iterative requirements and verification platforms for hardware teams, has successfully closed a $50 million Series B funding round. The funding was announced on September 29, 2026, and was co-led by Antonio Gracias, founder of Valor Equity Partners, and Gavin Baker, Managing Partner at Atreides Management.

Investor Participation

In addition to the lead investors, the round saw participation from a diverse group of investors, including Sequoia Capital, Human Capital, Evantic, SV Angel, Odyssey, EQT, and notable individuals such as Thomas Wolf, Jonas von Malottki, and Nico Rosberg. This strategic investment elevates Flow Engineering's valuation to $750 million.

Revolutionizing Hardware Development

Flow Engineering aims to transform hardware development by integrating artificial intelligence into the design and verification process. According to Pari Singh, Founder and CEO, the company is focused on reducing the development cycle for complex hardware systems, much like AI has done for software development. Singh notes, "Every hardware company now has to decide how fast it will adopt AI, and those that move first will win their markets."

The platform employs AI agents to streamline validation and verification processes, enabling engineers to manage mechanical, electrical, and software systems more efficiently. These tools work within existing environments like computer-aided design and Git to conduct impact analysis and detect requirement failures, potentially reducing development cycles from months to days.

Strategic Use of Funds

The newly acquired funds are set to enhance Flow Engineering's capabilities in AI-driven hardware development. The company plans to further develop its platform to allow hardware engineers to address stress variables, constraints, and other design challenges more swiftly and effectively.

Board Expansion

As part of this funding round, Roelof Botha has joined Flow Engineering's board as an independent director. Botha, known for his strategic insights, has also made a personal investment in the company.

Flow Engineering's innovative approach aims to accelerate the pace at which hardware teams can bring complex systems from concept to reality, marking a significant shift in the hardware development landscape.
