Finfinity Raises $2.4 Million in Seed Round
Mumbai-based Finfinity, a digital lending platform, has successfully raised $2.4 million in a seed funding round. The funding was led by the family office of Mankind Pharma's promoter and included participation from the Vi-John Group, Malani Ventures (Sanjay Shah Family Office), Sanjay Singhvi, and company employees.
Company Overview
Founded in 2023 by Pradeep Chauhan and Vijay Kadam, Finfinity aims to build the financial backbone of India through technology-driven solutions. The platform serves as a digital marketplace where users can compare loan products from multiple lenders, thereby helping borrowers secure competitive rates and enabling financial institutions to reach higher-quality customers.
Strategic Use of Funds
The newly acquired capital will be directed towards enhancing Finfinity's technology platform. The company plans to focus on personalisation and risk intelligence to improve its offerings. Additionally, Finfinity intends to expand its network of lending partners, scale its distribution channels, and invest in customer acquisition and brand-building efforts.
Expansion and Hiring Plans
Finfinity also plans to increase its workforce, particularly in the areas of product development, engineering, and partnerships. The company is aiming to grow its user base to 10 million over the next 18 to 24 months, with a focus on expanding across various lending categories and strengthening its presence in the mortgage sector.
Product Offerings
The platform currently integrates with banks and non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) to enable real-time data exchange, facilitating faster credit decision-making. Finfinity offers a variety of loan products, including home loans, personal loans, auto loans, education loans, and loans against property.
Future Prospects
As Finfinity continues to scale, the company is working on developing embedded finance solutions. With its recent funding, the startup is well-positioned to further its mission of building a robust financial infrastructure in India.
