The round was led by Balderton, with additional participation from Uncorrelated Ventures, IRIS, and Y Combinator. This funding will aid the company in expanding its innovative platform that automates the discovery, testing, and remediation of software vulnerabilities.

Escape is designed to replace traditional security scanners with AI agents. These agents provide continuous discovery, penetration testing, and remediation services. The platform is business-logic-aware and employs Automated Security Management (ASM) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) techniques, making it a trusted tool for over 2,000 security teams globally.
Use of Funds
The new capital will be directed towards enhancing Escape's AI capabilities and scaling its engineering and go-to-market teams. According to recent data from Check Point Research, organizations are experiencing an average of 1,968 cyberattacks per week, a 70% increase since 2023. Since its inception, Escape has identified over 2,000 high-impact vulnerabilities across 5,600 AI-generated applications. The platform is currently conducting more than 300,000 security assessments monthly. With the Series A funding, Escape plans to further develop its AI agents to include agentic penetration testing, which will focus on analyzing application logic beyond known vulnerability patterns.
