Edgeverse Raises $342K in Funding

Bengaluru-based startup Edgeverse, known for its development of edge-native AI perception technology, has secured $342,000 (approximately Rs 3 crore) in funding from GVFL. Edgeverse specializes in creating advanced perception solutions, including Perceiva™ ARAS, DMS, and Imedge® hardware, aimed at enhancing smart mobility for OEMs and fleets across India.

The funding round, completed on August 29, 2026, was led by GVFL. While details about other participating investors were not disclosed, GVFL's involvement highlights a significant endorsement for Edgeverse's innovative approach to mobility technology.

Company's Vision and Technology

Edgeverse, founded by Arindam Ghosh, is focused on developing a hardware-agnostic perception stack that integrates edge AI with sensors like cameras and radar. This technology aims to provide OEMs and Tier-I suppliers with the tools to implement advanced safety and perception capabilities in vehicles. Additionally, the company aims to commercialize its AI-powered perception solutions, which are designed to meet the unique challenges of Indian road conditions.

Future Developments

Edgeverse's flagship product, Perceiva™ ARAS, is an Advanced Rider Assistance System software stack that leverages camera- and radar-based applications. The company is also working on an integrated ARAS solution that combines processor hardware, sensors, and proprietary perception software.
