dtcpay Raises $25 Million in Series A Funding

dtcpay, a digital payment solutions provider integrating cryptocurrency acceptance with traditional financial systems, has successfully closed a $25 million Series A funding round. The funding round, finalized on September 18, 2026, was led by SBI Group, with participation from Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia, Genedant Capital, and Kwee Liong Tek.

Key Investors and Leadership

The lead investor for this round, SBI Group, participated through SBI Ventures Asset and the SBI-NTU-Kyobo Digital Innovation Fund. This marks a significant investment for the Singapore-based company, which is chaired by Band Zhao, with Alice Liu serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Candice Zhang as the Hong Kong CEO.

Use of Funds

dtcpay has outlined plans to utilize the newly acquired capital to enhance its product offerings, expand its merchant network, and pursue growth in regulated international markets. This strategic focus aims to bolster the company's presence and capabilities in the rapidly evolving digital payments landscape.

Expansion Strategy

The funding will support dtcpay's ambitions to integrate more seamlessly into traditional financial systems and expand its reach in both existing and new jurisdictions. With the backing of prominent investors like SBI Group and Vertex Ventures, dtcpay is positioned to strengthen its market position and drive innovation in digital payments.

Alice Liu, CEO of dtcpay, stated: "We are not raising to stay in place. We're raising to change the landscape of digital payments by integrating cryptocurrency into everyday transactions."

This funding round follows an earlier $10 million tranche led by Vertex Ventures earlier in 2026, with the total Series A now reaching $25 million.
