Pune-based Definedge, a fintech and brokerage startup, has secured $2.51 million (Rs 22 crore) in a Pre-Series A funding round. The investment round saw participation from a group of investors, including Nitin Agarwal, D. Prasad, Anant Jain, Sachin Kasera, Hemant Luthra, Ajay Srivastava, and Madhusudan N. Sarda.

Definedge plans to scale its existing platforms, including Algostra and Momentify. Momentify is targeted at investors who use systematic investment strategies, offering tools to build and backtest strategies for portfolio management.
