Datakrew Raises $2.6 Million in Pre-Series A Funding

Datakrew, a deep-tech company based in Singapore, has successfully raised $2.6 million in a Pre-Series A funding round. The company specializes in developing battery intelligence solutions for electric mobility. This funding round was led by Greenwillow Capital Management, with participation from investors including Beenext, 500 Global, SEEDS (now SG Growth Capital), XA Network, and AngelList.

Expanding Global Reach and Product Offerings

The newly acquired capital will be directed towards scaling Datakrew’s flagship platform, OXRED MyFleet. This platform aims to enhance the artificial intelligence-driven analytics capabilities essential for electric vehicle (EV) fleets, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and insurers. The company plans to expand its operations across Asia, Europe, and the Americas.

According to Sumanta Bose, Founder and CEO of Datakrew, "This funding validates our vision of turning every EV into a smart, data-rich asset, with measurable business and climate impact."

Strategic Use of Funds

Datakrew intends to utilize the funds to not only strengthen its current offerings but also to introduce next-generation products. These include OXRED GuardianAI, an autonomous fleet manager, and OXRED InsurShield, a B2B insurance solution designed to reduce loss ratios through smart risk assessments. Additionally, the company plans to deepen customer engagements across Asia and expand into European and American markets.

Leadership and Team Expansion

In line with its growth objectives, Datakrew is also expanding its leadership team. The company plans to onboard experienced sales and marketing professionals to support its expansion strategy and enhance customer engagement.

This funding marks a significant milestone for Datakrew as it continues to innovate in the realm of electric mobility and battery intelligence. As the world moves towards greater adoption of electric vehicles, Datakrew’s solutions aim to provide substantial value by transforming EVs into intelligent, data-driven assets.
