CrawlJobs Raises $3 Million in Seed Funding
CrawlJobs, a startup based in London, England, has successfully closed a $3 million seed funding round. This AI-powered platform specializes in aggregating job vacancies directly from employer career pages, aiming to make job discovery more efficient by addressing gaps in the traditional job market.
Founders and Leadership
The company was founded in 2024 by Szymon Bodych, who serves as the CEO, and Maciej Budziewski, the COO and co-founder. Budziewski is also known for co-founding IT Flashcards, a skills development platform for software engineers. In a statement, Bodych highlighted a significant challenge in the job market: "The job market has a visibility problem that most platforms are not designed to solve." He emphasized the platform's capability to source job openings directly from employer websites before they are delayed or missed by traditional distribution channels.
Funding Details
The seed round, which did not disclose individual investors, is backed by a group of seasoned C-suite executives with experience in Fortune Global 500 companies and international consulting firms. The funding will be instrumental in expanding CrawlJobs' job aggregation infrastructure and supporting the commercial launch of a new product currently in the final stages of development.
Use of Funds
The newly acquired capital will focus on several key areas:
- Infrastructure Expansion: Enhancing the platform's ability to index job listings directly from employers' sites.
- Product Launch: Supporting the commercial rollout of a new product that is currently in late-stage development.
CrawlJobs is already operational in about 20 language versions, demonstrating its global reach and ambition.
Strategic Partnerships
CrawlJobs is part of a broader technology group working on AI-native products across various sectors. The group includes IT Flashcards and AllDevBlogs, a content aggregation platform for developers. Furthermore, the company has joined the Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub, which has provided $150,000 in cloud and development support through Microsoft Azure, along with a commitment of up to $400,000 in marketplace onboarding and go-to-market support.
Future Plans
In addition to the current focus on job aggregation, CrawlJobs plans to introduce more products targeting the human resources sector. The company also has ongoing projects in regulated industries such as healthcare and medical services, slated for release in 2026.
CrawlJobs continues to innovate within the job market by leveraging AI technology to streamline job discovery, providing a more direct connection between job seekers and employers.
