Confluxe Raises $1.6 Million in Pre-Seed Funding

Bengaluru-based Confluxe, a company developing a digital omnichannel platform to facilitate global fashion and lifestyle brands' entry into India, has successfully raised $1.6 million in a pre-seed funding round. The investment was led by Wavemaker Partners, with additional participation from Kriscore Capital.

Bridging Global Brands to the Indian Market

Confluxe aims to address the challenges faced by international brands seeking to penetrate the Indian market. The company's platform integrates market entry strategies, digital commerce solutions, data-driven merchandising, and a localized 'Make in India' supply chain. This comprehensive approach is designed to help brands establish a strong foothold in the Indian fashion market, which is currently valued at approximately $130 billion.

Rajesh Narkar, Co-Founder and CEO of Confluxe, emphasized the company's goal to build the necessary supply-side infrastructure to enable global brands to scale effectively in India's evolving fashion ecosystem. "Brands are not just looking for access to channels in India; they need a partner that combines local execution with the right technology," Narkar stated.

The latest funding will be used to enhance Confluxe's technology platform and expand its operational capabilities, enabling more efficient entry and scaling for international brands in India. The company plans to strengthen its team and develop further technological solutions to support its mission.

Leadership and Experience

Confluxe was founded by Rajesh Narkar, who brings extensive experience from his previous roles at Myntra and AJIO, and Louis Coucke, who has a background with H&M India. Together, they aim to leverage their expertise to transform the way global brands interact with the Indian market.

With this funding, Confluxe is well-positioned to facilitate the entry of more global fashion brands into India, providing them with the tools and support needed to thrive in this dynamic market.
