Cleavr Raises €8 Million in Seed Round
Paris-based fintech company Cleavr has successfully raised €8 million in a seed funding round. The round was led by Varsity, with participation from Kima Ventures, Better Angle, Portfolio Ventures, Kerala, and Financière Saint James. Cleavr specializes in automating the accounts receivable process, using AI to streamline invoice collection, contact management, and payment tracking.
Company Overview
Founded in 2025 by Baptiste Nassoy, Arthur Guerin, and Antoine Grenard, Cleavr offers a platform that automates the end-to-end process of invoice collection. The platform integrates with ERP and accounting systems, providing multi-channel communication options such as email, phone, and SMS for managing collections. Within seven months of launching, Cleavr has attracted over 100 customers across multiple European countries, including France, Spain, Germany, Belgium, Italy, and the UK.
Use of Funds
The newly secured funds will be directed towards strengthening Cleavr's sales team, further developing its product, and accelerating its expansion across Europe. According to Didier Valet, General Partner at Varsity, "The collections market is huge and still very little automated, and Cleavr's approach has everything it takes to create a new standard of autonomous financial management."
Founders and Leadership
The company was co-founded by Baptiste Nassoy, who serves as CEO, along with CTO Arthur Guerin and Antoine Grenard. The leadership team has been instrumental in rapidly scaling the company and securing its initial customer base.
