Celero Communications Secures $275 Million in Series C Funding

Celero Communications, based in Irvine, California, has announced the completion of a $275 million Series C funding round. The company specializes in developing advanced coherent digital signal processing (DSP) solutions, designed to enhance high-bandwidth and low-power optical connectivity within AI infrastructure.

Investment Details

The funding round was led by Atreides Management, Valor Equity Partners, and CapitalG. Existing investors Sutter Hill Ventures and Maverick Silicon also participated in this round. As part of the investment, Gavin Baker, Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer at Atreides Management, will join Celero's board of directors.

Leadership and Vision

Celero Communications was founded by industry veterans Nariman Yousefi, who serves as CEO and President, and Oscar Agazzi, the Chief Technology Officer. Both founders have a background in companies like Marvell, Inphi, Broadcom, and ClariPhy, which has helped them build a strong foundation for Celero's innovative technology.

Strategic Use of Funds

While specific plans for the newly acquired capital were not disclosed, it is expected that the funds will further Celero's development of DSP solutions, potentially expanding their reach in AI network infrastructure and enhancing their data center capabilities.
