Bruno Milano Raises $855K in Latest Funding Round

Bruno Milano, a direct-to-consumer watch brand based in Noida, India, has successfully raised $855,000 (Rs 7.5 crore) in a funding round led by Sauce VC. This funding round also saw participation from Titan Capital, Arjun Purkayastha, Roman Saini, and Kitty Agarwal. Bruno Milano offers premium men's and women's watches featuring Japanese movements, sapphire-coated glass, and a one-year warranty, along with free shipping across India.

Founders and Leadership

The company was co-founded by Nandini Jain, Rachit Jain, and Saurabh Agarwal in 2024. They have leveraged over 30 years of experience in watch design and manufacturing to create a brand that aims to provide global design at fair prices for the Indian market. "The customer has already caught up with global design, whether they are in a metro or a tier 2 or tier 3 town," said Rachit Jain, highlighting the brand's focus on closing the design gap in the market.

Strategic Use of Funds

The newly acquired funds will be channeled into expanding Bruno Milano's market presence across India. The company plans to accelerate the rollout of new watch collections and designs, and enhance its availability on major e-commerce and quick-commerce platforms. The focus will be on introducing collections like Vittorio Chrono, Ambrosiana Chic, and Duomo Heritage, along with customized corporate gifting options.

Market and Product Expansion

With watches priced between Rs 2,000 and Rs 5,000, Bruno Milano aims to cater to a broad range of consumers seeking quality and design at competitive prices. The company plans to continue its direct-to-consumer approach through its own website and other online marketplaces, ensuring a wide reach and accessibility.

The funding marks a significant step for Bruno Milano, which had been bootstrapped since its inception. The involvement of notable investors like Sauce VC and Titan Capital underscores the potential and growth prospects of the brand in the Indian market.
