Booost Secures ¥700 Million in Series C Funding

Booost, a company focused on addressing climate change through technology, has announced the successful raising of ¥700 million in a Series C funding round. The funding, which took place on March 27, 2026, was led by One Capital, with participation from Pronexus.

Booost provides a "sustainability ERP" platform that assists companies in managing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) data alongside financial information. This platform is designed to streamline data collection, analysis, and disclosure, thereby aiding companies in making informed management decisions.

Enhancements and Expansion Plans

The newly secured funds will primarily be used to further develop Booost's core offering, the "booost Sustainability" platform. This platform has already been implemented in over 95 countries, serving approximately 6,500 companies and more than 197,000 locations as of December 2025. The focus will be on enhancing product features such as the "booost Impact" and "booost Disclosure" modules and developing AI agents to support data analysis and disclosure.

Collaboration with Pronexus

A significant portion of the funding will also support Booost's collaboration with Pronexus. The two companies aim to jointly develop an integrated disclosure platform that complies with SSBJ standards. This platform will combine financial and non-financial data, leveraging generative AI to improve the efficiency and accuracy of disclosures. The partnership will also utilize both companies' customer bases to expand their market reach and service offerings.

Strengthening the Team

Booost plans to use part of the funding to recruit additional AI engineers and experts in sustainability disclosure and international regulations. This will help the company enhance its product development capabilities and ensure compliance with global standards.

Industry Impact

Booost's platform is predominantly adopted by companies listed on the prime market with a market capitalization of ¥500 billion or more. These companies are increasingly seeking comprehensive solutions to manage and report their ESG data in line with global standards. By integrating non-financial information with financial data, Booost aims to provide a robust tool for these companies to meet their sustainability goals effectively.

Overall, the Series C funding marks a significant step for Booost in expanding its technological capabilities and market presence, further cementing its role as a key player in the sustainability and ESG management sector.
