Bloom Security Launches with $20 Million Seed Funding
Bloom Security has announced a $20 million seed funding round, marking its official launch from stealth mode. The round was led by Glilot Capital Partners, with participation from Ten Eleven Ventures, Okta Ventures, and Runtime Ventures. Notable angel investors, including founders from Dig Security, Demisto, Snyk, and Talon, also contributed.
The company, co-founded by Itay Frishman (CTO), Itay Keren (CEO), and Ofir Balassiano (CPO), aims to provide comprehensive endpoint security solutions tailored for the AI era. Bloom Security offers visibility, contextual risk assessment, precise enforcement, and easy remediation for modern enterprise endpoints.
Addressing Modern Endpoint Challenges
As enterprises increasingly adopt AI technologies, the traditional approach to endpoint security has become outdated. Bloom Security's platform is designed to address the complexities of modern endpoints, which now include agentic software, MCP servers, browser extensions, and dynamic code packages.
The platform provides visibility into every tool and piece of code running on an endpoint, offering context on how these interact with data and systems. It evaluates supply-chain risks and configurations to assess exposure, allowing security teams to block risky installations and enforce secure configurations.
CEO Itay Keren highlighted the need for updated security measures, stating: "In the AI era, the employee device is no longer just a managed endpoint. Every endpoint is running software no one reviewed, connecting to services no one provisioned."
Strategic Use of Funds
The $20 million raised will be utilized to further develop Bloom Security's platform and expand its deployment across large enterprises in the United States and Europe. The company plans to enhance product features to better evaluate contextual risks in real-time.
Co-Founder and CPO Ofir Balassiano explained, "The same tool can be completely acceptable on one endpoint and high-risk on another. Risk depends on context: the user's role, their access to sensitive data, the other tools operating on that endpoint, their configurations, and how everything interacts."
Investors and Team Background
Glilot Capital Partners led the investment, with additional backing from Ten Eleven Ventures, Okta Ventures, and Runtime Ventures, among others. The founding team brings significant experience from previous roles at Palo Alto Networks, Dig Security, and Demisto.
Bloom Security currently employs 30 team members and is focused on scaling its operations to meet the growing demand for AI-native endpoint security solutions.
