ArmorCode Raises $16 Million to Expand AI Security Solutions

ArmorCode, a Palo Alto-based company specializing in unified exposure management, has announced a successful $16 million strategic funding round. The investment will be used to enhance its Agentic AI Platform and further develop its capabilities in AI security governance. ArmorCode’s platform is designed to help security teams efficiently manage and remediate vulnerabilities.

Key Investors and Leadership

The funding round was led by Cheyenne Ventures, with participation from a host of other investors including Ballistic Ventures, Highland Capital, Sierra Ventures, NGP Capital, Harmonic Growth Partners, Tau Ventures, and Cervin. ArmorCode's leadership team includes Founder and CEO Nikhil Gupta and Co-founder and COO Indraneel Shah.

Nikhil Gupta commented on the funding, stating, "This capital enables us to scale our agentic AI platform vision faster, deepen our enterprise footprint, and continue building the industry’s most comprehensive unified exposure management platform."

The newly raised capital will support ArmorCode in several key areas:

Alongside the funding announcement, ArmorCode has appointed Phil Venables, a seasoned cybersecurity expert, to its Board of Directors. Venables brings extensive experience from previous roles at Google Cloud and Goldman Sachs, and his expertise is expected to bolster the company’s leadership amid growing complexities in AI-driven security.
