Arivihan Secures Series A Funding

Arivihan, an AI-driven education technology company based in India, has successfully raised $10.2 million in a Series A funding round. The funding was led by Accel and Prosus Ventures, with additional participation from GSF. The company focuses on providing AI-based learning and exam preparation for school students across various state boards, CBSE, and competitive exams like NEET.

Expansion Plans

The newly acquired funds will be used to broaden Arivihan's reach within India. The company plans to enhance its platform by expanding offerings for CBSE students and strengthening its presence in preparing for medical entrance examinations. The startup also aims to improve its AI capabilities, including vernacular-language support, and scale its marketing strategies.

Focus on Smaller Cities and Rural Areas

Arivihan, co-founded by Rushabh Kothari, has a strong presence in states such as Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Bihar. The company initially targeted Hindi-medium Class 12 students in Madhya Pradesh and is now extending its services to students in smaller cities and rural areas. The AI system employed by Arivihan is designed to personalize learning experiences by assessing student responses, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending tailored study plans.

Leadership Insights

Rushabh Kothari, Co-Founder and COO of Arivihan, emphasized the company's commitment to enhancing educational access and quality across various regions in India. The ultimate goal is to cover nearly all state boards by the end of the year, thereby reaching a broader student base.

Strategic Use of Funds

The funding will support Arivihan in expanding its geographical footprint and introducing more comprehensive offerings for students. The company is particularly focused on strengthening its AI-driven learning tools and increasing its presence in the medical entrance exam preparation market.
