Aristotle, a San Francisco-based AI tutoring platform, has successfully raised $5 million in a seed funding round. The round was led by True Ventures, with additional participation from prominent investors including Wicklow Capital, Anthropic, OpenAI, Sierra, Ramp, and Cognition. Founded by Jaiden Reddy and Vivek Vajipey, Aristotle focuses on providing an AI tutor that assists students in learning rather than simply providing answers. The service is already in use by families at top schools nationwide.
Expanding the Reach of AI Tutoring
The funding will support Aristotle's plans to expand its reach across the United States. The company is set to launch nationwide following a successful closed beta phase, during which over 1,000 students completed more than 1,500 hours of one-on-one tutoring sessions.
