Aignosis Raises $456K in Seed Funding

Aignosis, a healthtech startup based in Jaipur, India, has successfully raised $456,000 (โ‚น4 Crore) in a seed funding round. The funding was led by Antler and Nikhil Kamath, with additional participation from investors Varun Dua and IIMA Ventures. The company, co-founded by Divyansh Mangal and Raksheet Jain, focuses on using AI technology to assist in the early screening of autism and developmental conditions.

AI-Based Autism Screening

Aignosis has developed an innovative AI-assisted screening system designed to identify behavioral signals in children that may indicate developmental conditions. The system is tailored for children aged between 16 months and nine years and utilizes standard laptops and webcams to conduct assessments. During these assessments, children watch a short video comprising nine stimulus modules. The system then analyzes behavioral information such as gaze patterns, responses to names, and reactions to facial expressions, creating a risk report to suggest whether further clinical assessment might be necessary.

Use of Funds

The newly acquired funds will be directed towards expanding Aignosis's presence across India. The company plans to integrate its screening technology into more clinics, government health centers, and schools, thereby increasing accessibility to their AI-driven solutions.

Founders' Vision

Co-founder Raksheet Jain stated, "Our goal is to make autism screening accessible and affordable across various healthcare settings, ensuring early intervention for developmental conditions." This funding round marks a significant step towards achieving that vision, enabling Aignosis to broaden its reach and impact.
