Brazilian fintech A5X has successfully raised $70 million in a Series D funding round. This round was led by prominent investors Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, and Kaszek. Other participants included IMC, Jump Trading, Optiver, XTX Markets, XP, and ABN AMRO Clearing.

A5X is developing a new derivatives exchange aimed at increasing efficiency, robustness, and transparency in the Brazilian market. By leveraging cutting-edge technology and governance structures, A5X plans to deliver consistent performance for its users.

The company is co-founded by Carlos Alberto Ferreira Filho, who serves as the CEO, and Karel Luketic, who is the Vice-President. Under their leadership, A5X is striving to create a competitive alternative to existing exchanges like B3 in Brazil.
